Make a donation

Guelph Spoken Word is an entirely volunteer-run organization. We rely on grant funding and ticket sales to provide programming.  Especially in pandemic times, we could really use your support!

If you've enjoyed our programming, or if you just want to support a local arts organization, consider making a donation.

To donate, etransfer any amount to info@guelphspokenword.com. Note that we are not a registered charity, so cannot provide charitable donation receipts for tax purposes.

If you're not sure how much to donate, here are some ideas:
  • $10 covers one poetry slam ticket
  • $25 covers one workshop ticket
  • $50 covers two workshop tickets
  • $100 covers one poetry slam prize

Sponsors & Supporters

Guelph Spoken Word operates on the traditional territory of the Chonnonton, Anishinaabek, and Haudenosaunee peoples, and treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit. We acknowledge the Two Row Wampum and Dish With One Spoon Covenant, and are responsible for upholding the agreements our ancestors made here. Indigenous peoples are integral to the story of this land. It is up to each of us to repair the damage done by settlers and the state of Canada, and build relationships based on reciprocity, respect and reconciliation.
